How To Get The Best Polaroid Pictures For The Best Price

Recently the polaroid made a comeback and became a fan favorite.  Many young people are buying mini polaroid cameras typically made by Fujifilm and taking pictures to keep up with their aesthetic.  If you are considering buying one of these polaroid cameras, don't! There is nothing wrong with them, it's a blast to have one and I love the pictures.  I had bought a Fujifilm Instax Mini polaroid camera when the trend first hit but I never used it as much as I had wanted and planned.  I always struggled remembering to use it because I typically only take pictures on my phone.  This past week I learned of something that changed the whole game!  One of my favorite bloggers, Bre Sheppard, posted on her Instagram story about a polaroid printer that uses the same film as the polaroid I already owned.  Now I already own a polaroid camera so I should just not spend any more money on the topic and ignore her story... but I couldn't not check it out.

The KiiPix Printer is only $33.21 on Amazon with Amazon Prime 2-day shipping available.  The typical Polaroid most are buying, like me, are $57.22 on Amazon also with the 2-day shipping offered.  Looking at my options I spent the $33.21 and bought the printer!  Guess what, I love it!  I can print any picture from my phone instantly onto the polaroid film which eliminates the problem of never getting to have my pictures as little polaroids.  Another bonus as to why you should buy the printer and not the polaroid is the price difference! The printer is half the price of the camera and works just as well.  With both I have had a couple pictures come out white due to the picture not printing but only a couple on each. This is supposed to replicate the old fashioned cameras and not our current high tech cameras so it is okay for it to sometimes not be able to capture the picture due to lighting.  The day I got my printer in the mail I printed twelve polaroid pictures off from my phone!  It is so easy and a bit addicting so I couldn't stop.  Since then I have started putting the pictures on the wall in my closet!

The printer is very easy and simple to use which makes it an even better purchase.  It takes under a minute to print a picture and for the picture to develop!  The advice I have is to remember the natural lighting of the room you are in will still affect the picture you are printing due to the open sides of the printer.  I printed the pictures on colored film, shown above, in a dark room so they did not turn out the best.  Here is step-by-step pictures of what it looks like set up and how to print:

1.  Here is the printer folded together ready for storage or travel.

 2.  Now open the printer and place the flat removable piece on like shown in the picture.

 3.  Place your phone top of the printer like this.  Look up through the window to make sure your picture/phone is placed how you would like.

4.  Press the small lever down once and then roll the knob to the right until your polaroid picture is out.  Then wait until it appears!

I obviously am recommending to buy the printer no matter what because it was a fun and a great purchase in my eyes! I gave my sister my polaroid camera so she could enjoy it since I have no use for it anymore.  If interested the link for the printer is below, save it to your Amazon Wish List or buy it ASAP like I did!  Also is the Instax Mini polaroid film which works with both the printer and camera; then the link to buying the camera on Amazon in case you do still want it ;)
