Station 19

Start Date: March 22, 2018 on ABC

In this Grey’s Anatomy spin off we meet Captain Pruitt and his daughter, Andy Herrera both firefighters at Station 19 where Grey’s star Ben Warren will now be working.  In a trailer we see Captain Pruitt having to step down after a fire that lands him in the hospital.  His daughter Andy tells him as he as to step down, she’s ready to step up.

Life Sentence

Start Date: March 7, 2018 on The CW

Stella, a young girl who receives news she has terminal cancer.  After living life to her fullest knowing she only has little time, Stella is told that her cancer miraculously was cured.  The show follows Stella as she comes to reckon with the decisions she made when she thought she was dying.

Black Lightning

Start Date: January 16, 2018 on The CW

The CW expands their shows of the DC Comics with Black Lightning.  The Black Lightning, Jefferson Pierce protected the streets of his city when he was young.  Since then life happened and he packed his suit away thinking his days of being the cities vigilante were behind him until his star student daughter is recruited by a street gang.  Then must protect his family and city once again as the Black Lightning.

Roseanne

Start Date: March 27, 2018 on ABC

Since May 1997, Roseanne fans have only been able to watch reruns but not anymore.  The reboot will focus on the Conner family just as it once did before.  Following the daily struggles and life lessons a working class family typically meets with the humor the original show had.

The Resident

Lost in Space

The Netflix reboot of Lost in Space follows the 1960’s show of the Robinson family who lives 30 years in the future and is selected to find a way to make new life on a different planet.  On the way to their new planet, the Robinsons face struggles leaving them stranded with two strangers and trying to live in a dangerous world unlike where they were expecting to live.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace (2nd season of American Crime Story)

Start Date: January 17, 2018 on FX

The second season of American Crime Story focus’ on the murder of Gianni Versace.  The season is based on Maureen Orth’s book Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U.S. History.  It follows Gianni Versace, his killer Andrew Cunanan and the investigation after Mr. Versace was shot.

The Crossing

Start Date: April 2, 2018 on ABC

Sheriff Jude Ellis thought escaping his past and moving to Oregon would be simple and quiet.  The little fishing town he picked to restart would end up anything but normal when 47 refugees from a war-torn country show up on the towns beach.  The only confusing part is these refugees are running from a war that is 180 years in the future and the country they are from is America.

Siren

Siren is definitely a show that is keeping its secrets hidden until its 2 hour premiere.  In the mermaid loving town of Bristol Cove, a young girl full of mystery brings mayhem. She is no mermaid with talking seashell earrings.  This siren has claws, sharp teeth and is a forced to be reckoned with.

The Terror

Inspired by a true story, the show is about the British Royal Navy’s treacherous journey into unknown waters.  Not only does the crew struggle with cold temperatures, limited supplies, and little fear but also with each other.  Who will survive the attempt to discover the Northwest Passage?

Jack Ryan is a new CIA analyst who gets thrown into a dangerou field assignment.  The show follows him as he tracks a new type of terrorists which throws him into a dangerous world.

Deception

Cameron Black found fame on the Las Vegas strip doing magic with a side of scandal.  That gig fell to ruins but now he’s found a new way to use his skills, with the FBI. With his talents he uses tricks to help the FBI catch some of the most elusive criminals.  

Good Girls

Two sisters Beth and Annie team up with their best friend Ruby to call it quits when it comes to playing by the rules.  After wanting to gain respect and each needing a bit of financial help for their families, the three “good girls” decide to rob a local grocery store.  Their game plan is smooth but being new to the world of crime they didn’t expect what really happens.

The Alienist
